In conjunction with the San Francisco SBDC, Kimco Realty, the nation’s largest owner and operator of neighborhood and community shopping centers, including Westlake Shopping Center, has partnered with the San Francisco SBDC to offer a value-packed business program to assist entrepreneurs to develop detailed business goals and plans, source adequate funding, and articulate their steps to success.
The classes cost only $50 total and participants who attend all three classes and complete a business plan will be eligible for consideration to the Keys (KIMCO Entrepreneurs Year Start) Program. The program places qualified applicants into existing KIMCO shopping centers with one year free rent and other benefits through the critical startup years.
Successful completion of a business incubation program increases the likelihood that a startup company will stay in business. Studies found 87% of “incubator graduates” stayed in business, in contrast to 44% of all firms. Register for the classes.
