Today I went into a sort of OMFG / drop-everything mode when I heard about Google’s “Mobilegeddon.” This uber-dramatic event referred to Google implementing new rules for what ranks high in search results on Google Mobile.
Check out this article about the changes to Google mobile search results to discover:
- why Google made this change
- how you can check if your website passes or fails (That failing one below is from a really big company.)
- what you can do to get your site mobile-friendly, along with ecommerce and website software that are already Google Mobile Friendly
The bottomline is while what Google has done might be a pain, it has the best of intentions to make shopping and surfing from mobile devices a good experience. And that’s good!
