Probably the same thing that gets all the artisan / new wave / craft confections I know eating it!
This is a question that has taxed me often. Yet as I helped the Good Food Awards recognize confectioners using simple, direct-sourced ingredients without GMO corn syrup I would then go to See’s and ask no questions about the ingredients. How is this amazing food business built to last and only growing?
“I love See’s! It’s my absolute favorite. I know there’s Godiva and other chocolates. But Godiva’s nothing compared to See’s. See’s is crack.” – My friend who asked what I was writing about…who rarely eats candy.
