Good food finds and stories from specialty food companies around the world, posted live from the Summer Fancy Food Show on my Instagram. Be among the first to get my trend report from the show by signing up for my FoodStarter Insider email.
Some of my top picks:
- From the Ground Up cauliflower crackers and pretzels. (I met a dude on the airplane who liked them, even though he is a self-professed cauliflower hater. Alas, he was married.)
- Angkor Cambodian Foods‘ Lemongrass Paste for food service, also with jars for consumers. Instant fresh Southeast Asian flavor in even the most remote restaurants. I’m stoked about that.
- Hank Sauce is a few guys in Joisey with adorable branding and great sauces made in their own factory.
- Freshe Tuna Meals which I have not yet tasted but I know are going to be a winner.
- Zesty-Z Zatar – ready to use at home or for foodservice, made in Brooklyn by a mama who knows how to make great zatar.
The show featured lots of great soft jellies and gummies from Europe. Get in touch if you’re a seller and want some custom recommendations for products to stock!
How do my picks match the Sofi Award winners?
